WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
What is skin irritation?
Contact dermatitis is your skin's way of saying it doesn't like something it touched. This contact can be with an irritant, which directly damages the skin, or an allergen, which triggers an allergic reaction in the skin. It can result in affected areas becoming darker, grayish, or purplish in darker skin tones or redder in lighter skin tones. You may also experience itching, small blisters, or dry scaly patches.
